“Daisies are just the friendliest flower, don’t you just think that daisies are the friendliest flower?” I love the movie You’ve Got Mail. Daisies put me in mind of spring and I love to paint them on anything that will hold still and let me paint it. This is an old antique window that I repurposed to give the feel of spring, I hope that it stirs spring fever in you and causes you to want to get up and go for something that you’ve wanted to do! Whether it be a spring project like painting a window, or creating a small garden area or something more simple like changing your curtains. Whatever you choose to do, I hope this blog puts a “Spring” in your step!
Hello All,
Well here it is a new year and a brand new chapter it seems for me to live out. It is an exciting time, although the steps I am beginning to take are somewhat unfamiliar. Even though I have published a book before, Caleb’s Cereal which is the book pictured. is a brand new venture for me. It’s like having a new baby and you know you have to take care of it, but it does not mean you necessarily know how. You just sorta play it by ear and let the baby tell you what it needs.
More than I want to promote a book, I really want to promote the message behind the books that I have written. I have a passion and a desire to encourage others to follow their dreams, no matter how crazy they may seem. I am a farm girl who was born and raised in a small little rural community in Kentucky. Why would I, of all people, be chosen to write books? My answer is simply this…because I said YES! If I, of all people. can write books and be published, then there is no limit to what you can do… What is your passion? If you do not know what your passion is, then this blog is your divine appointment because until you know what you truely desire to do, then you will spend much of your life being unfulfilled and very unhappy. However, when you know what your passion is and you let it lead you, it is very rewarding and very satisfying.
So this is a test! What is in your heart to do? The scriptures says “what your hands find to do, do it with all your might!” This sounds to me like you have been created to do something passionately with your life and that you are to do it with all your might!
This blog is one of my attempts to passionately pursue what is in my heart! Hope you will follow suit and go attempt to pursue your passion!

Freedom is not free! When I think about freedom
I think of all the sacrifice it took in order for me to
walk in the freedoms I have. Not only our basic
freedoms that we have as a result of being in the
USA, but in the freedom to live our lives the way we
want to live them.
No one can force you to live a certain way, it is
all choice. I believe having choice is the ultimate
form of freedom. The Lord tells us to choose Life or
Death, Blessing or Cursing… You must choose which
you want to live. GOD does not choose for you, neither
does he make you choose, but he gives you a suggestion
as to how to choose! “HELLO!” Choose LIFE!
Jesus came to give us not only life but a life
that is full! You may ask “A life full of what?” My
answer is the same as the Lord’s “You choose!” Choose
Him and life or don’t! It’s up to you!
The power of Life and Death are in the tongue, if
the life you’re living is not an ideal life, change your
conversation and begin to prophesy a new life! No it
is not simple, it takes descipline and a constant renewing
of your mind to cause you to even began to believe
that you could have a better life. You have to change
your own mind about you! But, practice makes
perfect! When you put the word of GOD in your mouth
and heart, you align yourself up with what the Lord
wants for you. You will find that the first thing to change
is your attitude. When you align yourself up with GOD
you gain such freedom and joy! Whom the Son makes
free is free indeed!
Hello All,
Last night I made No bake Cookies for my family
which is full of chocolate and peanut butter. You never
seen so many smiles in your life! I once had a friend
who told me that you could not mess up peanut butter
and chocolate, that they make a perfect couple. You
could say that they fellowship great together.
I’ve always heard that fellowship was two people in
the same boat going in the same direction! My husband
and I have been in the same boat for 31 years, and
are in fellowship. It amazes me that we have managed
to stay in the same boat through good times and through
some rough times. We’ve had our boat to be rocked a
few times over the years, but we’ve agreed to stay
in the boat and in fellowship!
Jesus said that if two or three come together in
agreement that he would be in their midst. When you
come into agreement with someone and decide to fellowship
with them, it is a powerful connection! If it is
just you and the Lord in your boat, would anything
be impossible?
