I’m Leaving a Path for Other Wanna be Authors to Follow!  I am not being arrogant when I say what I say, but I am posting evidence of my books, journals, planners, diaries, etc.  Listen, believe me when I say to you that I understand the mistrust in Publishers, as I personally used a publisher that went out of business.  However, things like that can make you bitter or better.  This didn’t deter me, I simply had to find a way to continue doing the books that worked for me.  Yes, this may sound crazy, but when I was released from my publisher, I feel like it was a key to my freedom as I can now publish a book anytime I desire without waiting a year to do it. I can also market without permission and again waiting for approval!  I will always be grateful to my publishing company experience because they taught me the leg work that goes into publishing and how to create my best manuscripts to put into books!

So, I may not have had much knowledge at the beginning of the Publishing Process way back in 2005, but over the years, I have honed my craft. I’ve learned more and more about the process and will continue to be a student especially with all of the new technology that is available to authors!  However, because I have carved out a path for myself, I can and desire to leave it for others to follow and to learn.  This is why I have helped Authors do their books, to help them learn how to put in the leg work and give them their own publishing Freedom!  Below is another list of Books, Journals, Planners, etc that I’ve so enjoyed doing in that it lets me design and use my own artwork in many of them!

Creating and Designing Book Covers using my own Artwork is a blast, this is just another perk of knowing how to publish my own books and having a wonderful time doing it! Do you have to know all that I know to get started!  Absolutely NOT!  As a matter of fact, I tell Authors if you have an idea of what you want to write about, write it, let it dump out of you onto pages.  Regardless of errors etc., simply get it down.  Worry about perfecting it afterward, so that the process will not be hindered!  I also encourage them with, “Hey, done is better than none!”  When I tell them that, it doesn’t mean that I recommend they put out trash, etc., Absolutely NOT!  It means they have to start and finish their first manuscript! Again, regardless of errors, or even researching, all of the perfecting and editing will come later, simply get it down!

I’m Leaving a Path for Other Wanna be Authors to Follow!  In this path are Fourteen years of experience in writing, self-publishing, marketing, creating, and designing.  If you are an Author, what path do you want to go down?  The wonderful thing about being an Author is it’s your choice to choose which path you’ll go down.  I highly recommend you find others whom you do trust and learn from them.  You do not have to invent the wheel, simply learn from those who are carving out the pathway for you to follow!  Blessings and Happy Writing!

It is such an honor when someone asks me to help them do their books. Because I myself am an Author, I seriously compare it to birthing a baby, as we carry these things for a long time before they are delivered to the world. I can not help everyone who desires to do a book, but I do the ones that I feel the Lord allows me to be apart of.

I wanted to share this precious book with you my audience because of the story behind it.  This precious lady, now in her Eighties, had gotten her book published before, however, the publisher that published it for her went out of business.  Unfortunately, she couldn’t order any more copies or anything, so the only choice she had was to republish.  However, most of the beautiful graphics, etc. were copyrighted and she really had to start over.  This was where I came in, being honest, and having no idea how long it would take me to complete everything, finally, we hit Publish and her wonderful book “baby” is the result!

Swallowing Dreams One Bite at a Time!

One Step at a time!

How do you swallow an Elephant? One bite at a time!

Swallow Dreams One Bite at a time! Dreams are meant to be walked out!  But how?  You might ask.  My answer to you is One step at a time…

I heard the joke, how do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time!

Dreams for many of us are like elephants, way too big to fit anywhere in our lives.  Our dreams are usually too big to swallow, too big to hide and shove down and way too big to fulfill on our own.   Isn’t it amazing, though, that they fit perfectly in our imagination and heart.  You can see them in everything you do and they are more real to you than anything else that you know. You desire it more than anything else, but still, it seems elusive.  The most unhappy people I’ve met are those who have decided that their dreams were just too big and too crazy and so they just gave up on ever fulfilling them.

Jeremiah 29:11  (KJV) 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

You know that I found that my craziest dreams, meaning dreams that were as huge as elephants and dreams that seemed to be delusional and impossible were the very dreams that the Lord himself had birthed into my life.  These are the dreams that I know I can’t fulfill on my own.  These are the dreams that I know are not possible unless God makes provision, sets me up with divine appointments and connections and provides funds for me to do it.  But I have great news for you! God is not a respect of persons! If He did it for me, he’ll do it for you!   I will not go into all of the details about God’s miraculous provision, or how he made divine appointments for me.  You know what I am talking about people want to call it “being at the right place at the right time” or “meeting the right person.” I know when I have Holy encounters that were set up divinely.  It wasn’t fate, chance, or coincidence,  it was my Heavenly Father providing for me so that I can fulfill my dreams which give Him glory and points to his goodness…

Big Dreams require continuous steps forward to see them become reality! Being an author is one such dream that I thought was so huge and impossible for me to obtain, but here I sit with several books published, with many more finished and ready to go.   I simply took one bite at a time and now I have got a good part of an elephant dream swallowed as far as actually writing and getting published and making an impact.  Going on the adventure of where the books will take me is another elephant and so on and so on, but one bite at a time, one step at a time with the Lord’s hand leading me, I’m swallowing hard and making great strides!
