I’m Leaving a Path for Other Wanna be Authors to Follow! I am not being arrogant when I say what I say, but I am posting evidence of my books, journals, planners, diaries, etc. Listen, believe me when I say to you that I understand the mistrust in Publishers, as I personally used a publisher that went out of business. However, things like that can make you bitter or better. This didn’t deter me, I simply had to find a way to continue doing the books that worked for me. Yes, this may sound crazy, but when I was released from my publisher, I feel like it was a key to my freedom as I can now publish a book anytime I desire without waiting a year to do it. I can also market without permission and again waiting for approval! I will always be grateful to my publishing company experience because they taught me the leg work that goes into publishing and how to create my best manuscripts to put into books!
So, I may not have had much knowledge at the beginning of the Publishing Process way back in 2005, but over the years, I have honed my craft. I’ve learned more and more about the process and will continue to be a student especially with all of the new technology that is available to authors! However, because I have carved out a path for myself, I can and desire to leave it for others to follow and to learn. This is why I have helped Authors do their books, to help them learn how to put in the leg work and give them their own publishing Freedom! Below is another list of Books, Journals, Planners, etc that I’ve so enjoyed doing in that it lets me design and use my own artwork in many of them!

Do you have to know all that I know to get started! Absolutely NOT! As a matter of fact, I tell Authors if you have an idea of what you want to write about, write it, let it dump out of you onto pages. Regardless of errors etc., simply get it down. Worry about perfecting it afterward, so that the process will not be hindered! I also encourage them with, “Hey, done is better than none!” When I tell them that, it doesn’t mean that I recommend they put out trash, etc., Absolutely NOT! It means they have to start and finish their first manuscript! Again, regardless of errors, or even researching, all of the perfecting and editing will come later, simply get it down!

However, for those who do not know what their purpose for being on earth is, I tell them to find what they’re passionate about and do it! Good morning! Today I was thinking about courage. It takes courage to get up out of bed in the mornings. I know that sound a little drastic, but hey, we live in a world that is full of dramatic and drastic changes every day. Courage is the get-up and go of every success. Without Courage, no chances of success or failure would have ever been attempted. I would rather try and fail than to stay seated and never attempt to succeed. The picture of the squirrel depicts a failed attempt to get birdseed, but if you’ve ever had squirrels at your birdfeeders, you realize really quickly that they do not let failure deter them. They continue to come to that birdfeeder over and over again until they figure it out. They take courage that if success is not to be today, try again, it will come tomorrow, and so it goes with us. Take courage my friends if you’ve made a courageous attempt and it did not work out quite the way that you thought. Pick yourself up and learn from it, and take a deep breath and start again. Take Courage if Success is not to be Today, Try Again, it Will Come Tomorrow!

The Mightiest Oak In the Forest was Once a Little Nut that Just Held Its Ground! I know that this quote is a little simple and even a little funny, however, I believe the quote also holds a deeper profound meaning. Are you a little nut?
When the circumstances of life come to uproot your peace or attempt to destroy you or your family, do you know how to hold your ground? Many times until the circumstances come into our lives, we do not know how strong we are. However, I view faith like a muscle. The more you use your faith muscle the stronger faith you have, but much like the muscles in your body, you can’t just go to the gym one time and have rippling muscles, right? No, you must continue to work those muscles to cause them to be built up and strong. So, must you give your faith muscles regular workouts.
There are three things that I have found a must that has helped me to build my faith muscles and stand my ground like this little nut. I numbered them 1-3, however, I feel that all three are equally important and necessary to build my faith and I use all three of them together.
When I deposit the Word of God into my spirit, His Word is the nutrition that my faith muscle needs to grow. When I keep putting in the Word and using it by faith it causes me to be stedfast and unmovable. Yes, I am like that little nut who will hold her ground, especially when it comes to my family and friends.
Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
My desire for writing my blogs is to always encourage. If you are facing circumstances in your life which may seem too strong for you, I hope that you will begin seeing yourself and your faith as powerful and strong in God. Our God is never surprised by what we are going through and will cause us to triumph if we stand our ground in faith trusting Him to help us. Remember, The Mightiest Oak In the Forest was Once a Little Nut that Just Held Its Ground!

Consistency Wins the Race! Have you ever just had a week of being busy, but still it seems like nothing is getting accomplished? Face it, life happens! Sometimes our great plans of what we were going to do for the week, year, or even our lives, simply change. The key is to be willing to roll with the changes! Be consistent in taking the small steps regularly. Yep, that has been my life recently, but yet when I look back I can see that I’ve accomplished much more than I thought I had. I’ve actually made some huge strides toward some goals that I’ve been trying to meet this year by being consistent in doing the small things.
It may sound wonderful to go through life without any bumps in the road, but I believe it would also be very boring! I have found that when the bumps of life happen, I can use them to my advantage. They can show me a true picture of what I am made of. Sometimes they detour me to another pathway that was good for me. I admit there have been some huge bumps at times, so huge in fact; I really never thought that I would make it over them. However, God’s grace is always sufficient for me!
2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
This post is not to brag on how much I’ve gotten done, but rather I want to encourage you to see how much you are getting accomplished! Take time to realize that God is co-laboring with you by making all grace about toward you! I want to encourage you… don’t give up on your goals or dreams, but press in even when it seems that nothing you do is accomplishing much. Do you remember the story of the Tortoise and the Hare? It was the Tortoise that won the race, not the Hare. Why? It wasn’t the speed, but rather, a consistency that caused the race to be won. If you haven’t quit, then you are still in the race, the prize is up ahead! Keep contending! Life is a marathon, not a sprint! Can you see that you too have made great strides? I cheer you on my friend! Again, Consistency Wins the Race!
