When You’re Doing Your Purpose, It Doesn’t Feel Like Work!
When You’re Doing Your Purpose, It Doesn’t Feel Like Work! I always try to encourage people to find what their purpose is and to do it with passion. However, for those who do not know what their purpose for being on earth is, I tell them to find what they’re passionate about and do it! Below is the best advice I can give anyone who wants to know how to discover their purpose. :
- Ask God? He is your Creator. Simply ask Him to show you what He created you to do? Refer to Psalms 139, as this book in the BIBLE speaks all about you! I am sure you will find a heap of answers in there!
- Do an inventory of your life up to this point. What are you passionate enough about that it makes you want to move toward something, such as a goal, a dream or vision? What have you been passionate about in the past or when you were younger that now you’re older you’ve stopped doing? Go visit those innocent childhood passions again.
- Faith it! Start putting action to what you want to do. For example, I am an Author and Artist. I started writing when I was a little girl in a tiny little diary…I had to start somewhere. Becoming an artist was the same thing, I would draw and practice drawing until I could make what I was drawing look like something.
- Once you discover your Passionate Purpose, add to your natural abilities by learning skillful ways to use them and to help others. This is where your joy will be found as we are all called to serve in some capacity! This is When You’re Doing Your Purpose, and It Doesn’t Feel Like Work
This is what I’ve been pursuing as it is my Passion and Purpose. I teach Art Classes and I Write, Create Books, and Publish them for myself and help others to do the same!
