I arise early to hear the sweet love language of my King;

As he whispers He loves me, Ah, His voice means everything.

I am swept away as I hang on the first life-giving word;

Nothing sweeter to my soul have I ever heard.

Every syllable, every roar and every whisper of his voice;

Stirs me to hunger and thirst for even more.

He roars like a Lion, but is as gentle as a Lamb;

He holds nothing back, He knows me as I am.

He knows me deeply, intimately, loves me complete;

I am his lay-down lover, lying at his feet.

I am intoxicated by His presence and His gaze;

Oh such love, the Master, the King, lavishes in this place.

He is mine and I am His, He is the perfect One;

I am radically, completely, utterly undone.
