CHOICES ALWAYS TAKE ACTION!

Your choice to move or stay still

Choices always take action! Whether you make a choice to move toward your goals, dreams, or visions is always your choice! Do you realize that if you do not move then you have made a choice to sit idle? If you want a different life, then make a different choice, but then take action on that choice!

Below are a few examples of the power of our choices:

Our choices have the power to propel us or to derail us.
Our choices fulfill us or deplete us.
We are accountable for those people our gifts, and talents were meant to minister to
Our choices ripple down to future generations

The examples above are only a few examples of how powerful our choices are! I for one want to make the right choices, not to say I always have, However, by using what I feel is the power that God himself gave us, we can make the right choices. God’s plans were always for us to be proactive in our lives. He gave us the power to make a CHOICE!

Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV) ¹⁹I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

So if God himself gave us the power to make choices and showed us the consequences of making choices, what will you and I do? Will we make wise choices and move forward into a great life of purpose, or make the choice to opt out and blame everyone else for our lack of being proactive? I know that sounds a little harsh, but again, we’re responsible for our choices! If we do not like our current position in life, the good news is we have the power to change it! Our choices always take action!

Love Never Fails

Love Never Fails!

Good morning all!

Love Never Fails! This morning I was pleasantly surprised by my

two children! They simply wanted to show me that

they loved me and so while I was outside on my front

porch, they cleaned my bedroom for me. They did

special little things for me one of which was to create

a little area in my bedroom where I could sit and read.

They know what Mommy loves.

As I thought about how much they wanted to bless

me and please me, I thought about how that

I could possibly be pleasing to others. Without trying to be

preachy or too corny, the best way I know is

to simply let the love of our Father GOD show through

me. I hope this blog is one of those little ways! As

I pour my heart into what I feel the Lord would have

me to say today, it is simply that He loves you.

It doesn’t matter to him what you do, or do not do,

he chose to love you. You can’t earn his love, he just

lavishes it upon you every day. You might be saying

“Hey girl, I don’t know what you’re talking about, my

life is in the toilet right now! How could anyone

love me when I am like this?” I would say to you,

that you’re the very one he wanted to speak to today,

“I love you with an everlasting love!” He says. Will you

just fall back into his loving arms and let him love you

today? I have fallen today! His arms are safe and feel

wonderful! Love Never Fails!

WE MUST CRUSH FEAR!

Must lose fear

#1 Rule to success: WE MUST CRUSH FEAR!

I find any time I go to do anything unfamiliar that fear will begin talking to me and trying to make me intimidated. The familiar voice imitates and sounds like mine as it pushes all of the self-doubt buttons in my soul (mind, will, and emotions). However, I have learned to recognize that voice right away, and so I push through the mocking and the lies! Most wonder, how? How do you press through and not let fear defeat you? My answer is to “Do whatever is in your heart, even if you have to do it afraid! Don’t let that demon of fear cause you to self-sabotage your dreams! Believe me, I’ve been there many times, but I’ve learned to literally tell him to “Shut Up!”

The reason I know fear is my enemy is because it comes to steal from me. This seductive spirit tries to kill my dreams, or destroy me. However, I know the truth and so I confront him head on and immediately as I recognize the first lie! The following is my truth that gives me the power to do that:

John 10:10 (KJV) The thief comes not but for to steal, kill, and to destroy, but I have come that you might have Life, and Life more abundantly!

Freely, take the Scripture above as your weapon. The only One that gives us Life is Jesus! He crushed the enemy in every area of life so that we can walk in victory every time! This truth, in your heart and mouth, will cause you to crush fear if you believe in the One who said it, and will apply it when the spirit of fear comes to lie to you!

Yep, if we have to….we’ll do it afraid! However, WE MUST CRUSH FEAR!

Adjust, But Keep Going! Yes, I said when you get discouraged. I am not trying to be negative, but face it, we all can become discouraged when trying to go after our dream life! Especially when things don’t go the way we thought they should, or maybe as quickly as we have hoped they would.

Honestly, this is a good thing, as it causes you to reach down deep into your soul to check your motives and reasons for starting the journey you’re on. Do you have a Wish List or Faith List?

Faith Substance

Do you have a Wish List or a Faith List?

The difference between the two is God’s Word. God doesn’t mind that you have what you wish for, but He is not a fairy Godmother….He doesn’t grant wishes…He operates by His principals of faith.

Do you keep saying, “Man, I wish God would do something for me.” He is not withholding from you, but He requires faith!

I hear people all the time say “I am hoping and a praying!”

Hope is a good thing and prayer is a wonderful thing, however hoping and yes even praying will not get you what you want.

When you hope and pray, you must add faith, the substance (physical matter) to your hope to see it come!

Wishing won’t do it, but Faithing will get it to you every time! Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. How do you hear and hear the Word of God? You must begin reading it, meditating it, confessing it with your own mouth.

God has not changed….What did he do?

Genesis 1-He spoke and Light was! He Created with words…

Genesis…The Holy Spirit of God was brooding over the deep, waiting…Waiting for the Father to Speak the Word, The Living Word….and Bam! The Dynamite (Power of the Holy Spirit) brought that spoken Word to Life!

He sent us the Living Word…Jesus, We have the Holy Spirit inside us and on us just brooding like He did for the Father…for the Sons and Daughters of God to realize that they can frame their worlds and create with the same creative Power as their Father! Why, because we are made in the Likeness and image of our Father.

Jesus taught his disciples to Pray: Matthew 6: 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Why? The answer is because this was God’s original plan when He created the Garden of Eden. He wanted to fellowship and commune with his wonderful Sons and Daughters! Everything He has done through Jesus was to take us back to that intimate place of Fellowship with Him…

How do we get there? By obeying and doing the WORD of GOD

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things, not seen.…

Faith is the Substance..(The physical matter) of things hoped for! We give our Faith substance by speaking words that we believe!

Fear works the same way…Are you giving substance to fear or to FAITH?

When you pray, are you simply wishing or are you praying the Word of God and Speaking out your answer?

A Pattern Interrupt!

Do you need A Pattern Interrupt? Have you ever found yourself seemingly muddling through your days? It is like you’re getting a few things accomplished but yet not all that you wanted to. Let’s not even talk about what kind of attitude we have as a result of just feeling as though you’re getting little accomplished. How do you snap yourself out of the muddling, or the attitude?

The thing I do is called a pattern interrupt! It actually helps me to come up with rather easy solutions to what seemed so difficult before. The best example I can give to you for myself is writing! I am an Author, so I write books. Sometimes I am sailing away on the book and everything is rolling along, but then all of a sudden I may get to a difficult scene and Bam! I hit that wall and may stay there for a long while, or at least a longer time than I want to. I think through different ideas and scenarios to only feel more frustrated or stuck. When this happens, I stop working on it! Yes, I know that may sound pretty drastic, but I simply move on to doing something else! This is the pattern interrupt! I may work on the book’s cover or search online for ideas for covers etc. I may write my weekly blog, or just abandon the computer or keyboard altogether for a brief time! I simply push away and do something else. This always works for me. I always seem to find encouragement and new inspiration to return back to my writing with a new attitude and fresh ideas!

So I encourage you that the next time you are finding it difficult to accomplish something and it feels it is taking way too long, or that you’re getting very little done…simply walk away for a while! Do something else that you enjoy, and then return to what you had stopped doing! I hope that you too will feel encouraged and find new inspiration as you use a Pattern Interrupt to help you keep going!
