Let your heart be your smart app! In the day that we live in with our lives so plugged into technology, I am really surprised that someone hasn’t created some kind of smart app that beeps or alarms to let us know “hey, you’ve gone around that same mountain a million times, don’t you think it’s time to change direction?”

Let your heart be your smart app! Well I know I am just being silly, however, do you know that we do have a built-in alarm? It’s called our conscience.  It’s the part of us that puts a huge check in our spirit every time we feel uncomfortable or are unhappy.  When the check comes we should pay attention to it and investigate the reason behind it. We should immediately question, why am I feeling this or that way over a situation?  Unfortunately, the alarms are going off all the time, but we’ve ignored them so long that they just seem like “white noise” or background noise.  Because we choose not to hear them, we continue to go in circles without our life’s purpose being fulfilled. Our lives then become stagnant and frankly pretty miserable.

Psalm 37:23 (KJV) 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

John 10:27 (KJV) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:I hope that this post is a LOUD alarm for you today!  Time to get off the wheel my friend and do something great and fulfilling!

The Lord has given us not only a conscience to help us, but He has given us the Holy Spirit that is our comforter, teacher and guide through life.  Many people choose to ignore Him as well, but He is trying to order their steps so that they will delight on their way! There is no better way to live than to let the Lord direct our steps and for us to hear his voice.  He wants to lead us to a wonderful life today, right now!  Let your heart be your smart app!

Don't Hide Them Away In a Closet or Box

There are many experts talking about side hustles etc. to make extra income which honestly I participate in.  However, the gigs that I seek to do and excites me the most are the ones that will add skill to what I feel are already my gifts and talents!

I am passionate about Art and Books.  I love creating art pieces and have developed enough skill to instruct others to do artwork of their own. I am also passionate about writing and publishing my own books, but  I also help others to write and publish their books as well!  What is my point?  Find that side hustle, but let it be like adding wood to an already burning fire or passion!

Oh, and by the way, once you create whatever your gifts and talents let you create…don’t hide them away in a closet or box, but rather share them and give glory to the One who has given you all things!

Your Destiny is Greater than your last Disaster!

Your Destiny is Greater than Your Last Disaster!  Do you ever feel as though you messed things up so bad that you’ll never be able to fulfill your destiny?  Let me let you in on a little secret, you’re not that powerful!  

My thoughts go back to when my babies begin to walk.  Did they stumble around and fall?  Absolutely! However, their ability to learn from their mistakes even at that age was amazing.  How much more, can you and I pick ourselves up and walk on?    There is a simple solution, but just because it is simple, doesn’t mean it is always easy!

  • Use the lesson as your blessing.
  • Learn from your mistake, and start over again.  Repent (change your mind and turn around) before God if you’ve done it out of disobedience. Simply ask Him to forgive you and set your feet back on the right path!
  • Realize that every morning is filled with new mercies, so don’t rehearse your mistake over and over, but start fresh with a new day!
  • As you start fresh with a new day, also start fresh with a new plan. Get into the Word of God and get you some knowledge and understanding.  Then trust God to give you the wisdom to put a new plan together and walk it out!
  • Simply go after your destiny another way, and realize that God is the Way Maker!

God is that loving Father, who like me when my babies fell, runs to pick us up.  However, like any parent, I had to gradually let my babies learn to pick themselves up and our Father will do the same with us.   I hope that this encourages you to remember Your Destiny is Greater than Your Last Disaster!

CHOICES ALWAYS TAKE ACTION!

CHOICES ALWAYS TAKE ACTION!

Your choice to move or stay still

Choices always take action! Whether you make a choice to move toward your goals, dreams, or visions is always your choice!  Do you realize that if you do not move then you have made a choice to sit idle?  If you want a different life, then make a different choice, but then take action on that choice!

Below are a few examples of the power of our choices:

  • Our choices have the power to propel us or to derail us.
  • Our choices fulfill us or deplete us.
  • We are accountable for those people our gifts, and talents were meant to minister to
  • Our choices ripple down to future generations

The examples above are only a few examples of how powerful our choices are!  I for one want to make the right choices, not to say I always have, However, by using what I feel is the power that God himself gave us, we can make the right choices.  God’s plans were always for us to be proactive in our lives.  He gave us the power to make a CHOICE!

Deuteronomy 30:19  (KJV) 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

So if God himself gave us the power to make choices and showed us the consequences of making choices, what will you and I do?  Will we make wise choices and move forward into a great life of purpose, or make the choice to opt out and blame everyone else for our lack of being proactive?  I know that sounds a little harsh, but again, we’re responsible for our choices! If we do not like our current position in life, the good news is we have the power to change it!   Our choices always take action!

WE MUST CRUSH FEAR!

#1 Rule to success: WE MUST CRUSH FEAR!

I find any time I go to do anything unfamiliar that fear will begin talking to me and trying to make me intimidated.  The familiar voice imitates and sounds like mine as it pushes all of the self-doubt buttons in my soul (mind, will, and emotions). However, I have learned to recognize that voice right away, and so I push through the mocking and the lies!  Most wonder, how? How do you press through and not let fear defeat you?  My answer is to “Do whatever is in your heart, even if you have to do it afraid!  Don’t let that demon of fear cause you to self-sabotage your dreams! Believe me, I’ve been there many times, but I’ve learned to literally tell him to “Shut Up!”

The reason I know fear is my enemy is because it comes to steal from me.  This seductive spirit tries to kill my dreams, or destroy me. However, I know the truth and so I confront him head on and immediately as I recognize the first lie! The following is my truth that gives me the power to do that:

John 10:10 (KJV) The thief comes not but for to steal, kill, and to destroy, but I have come that you might have Life, and Life more abundantly!

Freely, take the Scripture above as your weapon. The only One that gives us Life is Jesus! He crushed the enemy in every area of life so that we can walk in victory every time!  This truth, in your heart and mouth, will cause you to crush fear if you believe in the One who said it, and will apply it when the spirit of fear comes to lie to you!

Yep, if we have to….we’ll do it afraid!  However,   WE MUST CRUSH FEAR!

Yay, I am excited to offer you this simple tool to help you.  I have been an Author practically all of my life but honestly did not know how to do much of the things that I now coach and teach others to do.  I am now a 5 x Bestselling Author, which came with a lot of trial and error believe me!  However, persistence and the right help paid off for me and I desire to help other writers do or find the same kind of guidance!
