Are You Off Chasing Your Dream/Vision?
Hello, Christine Gilliam Hornback, here. I find it amazing that 2018 is moving right along so quickly! I really think it is because I have hit the ground running, chasing my Dreamlife, how about you? How was your 2017? I hope it was productive and that you have fulfilled many of your dreams! However, if you didn’t quite reach them I want to encourage you. How can you know where you’re going if you don’t know where you came from? I am sure you’ve heard that question several times in your lifetime, but all too many times we’ve lived in the past and know exactly where we came from. Many of us have even camped out there in regret! However, Now it is time to forget the past and began to live in 2018 the Year of New Beginnings! This is the year of Breakthrough! I think one of the first things to help others with is with focus. The Bible is a place I go to get focused. In the Word of God, there is no limit to what we can accomplish regardless of our age. That encourages me to know that it is never too late to conceive a new dream or to fulfill an old one. The Bible teaches focus because the Lord himself wanted to encourage his people by giving them something specific to focus on. He told Abram to look at the stars and sands to focus on His promise that he would be Father of many nations. He changed his name so that every time he told someone his name He was calling himself Father of Many Nations when at the time he didn’t even have a child. I believe when women conceive a baby that they have something before them to focus on. He wants us to write our vision/Dreamlife down so that we can focus on them and literally birth our dreams!
Habakkuk 2: 2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
